Only what has actually been seen working in county. The invented set was pulled because the shapes did not read as what they were meant to be. Anything added here from now on gets tested first.
Measured 2026-08-26: a 500 character sign pasted whole with nothing cut off,
so there is no total length limit worth worrying about. What there is instead is
a line width: a single unbroken line wraps to a new one at around 420 narrow
characters, and sooner with wide ones, because it is a width rather than a count. No normal sign
comes near either. Be as decorative as you like.
Still unknown: whether an ink colour survives a ~n~ line break.
Restate ink is on by default because repeating the code is the safe guess. Turn it off once you
have tested it and every sign gets noticeably shorter.
